I, Tristan Van Eeden, a fellow South African, bring a vibrant passion for the outdoors & a dynamic approach to life. I am 28 years young, driven by a curiosity & a love for learning, always eager to embrace new challenges & adapt to difficult situations. Whether I’m exploring the great outdoors or diving into a new project, I believe in the power of perseverance & a positive mindset. This combination of enthusiasm & resilience defines not just my personal life, but also the way I approach my professional endeavours.

Hoe ben je bij Ditio terecht gekomen?

I first heard about Ditio from a fellow Ditio colleague, who shared nothing but positive experiences. From there, I conducted my own research & Ditio really stood out, as they seemed to genuinely care for their employee’s well-being & professional growth/development. I could not resist. I applied & 3 months later found myself in the Netherland.

Welke rol vervul je bij Ditio?

At Ditio, I have joined as a Senior Document Controller.

Wat is het leukste project dat je bij Ditio hebt gedaan? 

As this is my first year at Ditio, I have only worked on one project. That being the Porthos project, The Porthos project concerns the development of facilities for the transportation & storage of CO2 into empty gas fields in the North Sea. The Porthos project has been pre-eminent in its own way. I found myself facing new challenges that helped me further grow & contribute to my goals.

Wat is een memorabel moment binnen je loopbaan bij Ditio?

My welcoming to Ditio. I was personally welcomed by my manager, Remco Treffers, upon arrival in the Netherlands, which added a caring & welcoming feeling to my initiation of this new journey.

Hoe zie je jouw toekomst bij Ditio voor je?

My future within Ditio is about growth & development. I aspire to be better & take on increasingly challenging roles that push me to expand my skills & knowledge. This includes expanding my knowledge into similar roles within Project Control aside from Document Control, which allows me to further develop, promoting self-worth & improvement. I envision myself climbing the corporate ladder, in the hopes of one day, managing my own department. I want to strive to be the one person that always has a solution to every problem. Ultimately, my goal is to ensure the company’s success, while also achieving personal & professional fulfilment.
