In mid-November Solutions Director Bob de Ligt and Manager DIM Remco Treffers went on a trip to Dubai and Pune, India. Indeed, since 2 years, two Indian document controllers have been working at Ditio: full-time and remotely from India. One of the solutions we used in this tight labor market to expand our team with good document controllers. A visit that led to interesting conclusions....
Virtual knowledge migration
For the recruitment and guidance of our Indian colleagues, we work together with Frank Korf. Frank makes it possible with his company WorldEmp to deploy highly educated talents from all over the world, without them having to physically move. Knowledge migration that, as far as we are concerned, is mutually beneficial.

Inspiring Dubai
Tripti and Tanmay are now real Ditiosi so it was high time to visit to meet each other in the flesh. Led by Frank, Remco and Bob first made a stopover in Dubai. The place to discuss, share and also adjust visions and ideas when it comes to the labor market shortage, labor migration and working with international colleagues at a distance. The first outcome was: dare to think big!
Metropolis of Pune, India
From slick Dubai through to the smells and colors of India. Two completely different countries linked together as global economic players. There they visited the metropolis of Pune where WorldEmp has 2 offices and Tripti and Tanmay work. A visit that was all about personal conversations, training and fun activities. And especially intended to further increase the connection already built at a distance.
Valuable insights
We can say that the trip was very valuable for all parties. Seeing India and spending time with international colleagues, exchanging visions and ideas, expanding your field of vision. Dreaming about a Ditio office in India... All things that we will take into account in our cooperation in the coming time. Knowledge migration at a distance remains an interesting topic that we should certainly continue to talk about, but above all do. As far as we are concerned, that is the only way to really learn and stretch ourselves.
