Bonus: Belgrade tips from Gerben and Bob

And of course we don't forget the bonus! Gerben and Bob agree. Belgrade is definitely a must-see and should not be missing on your list of city trips. It is a beautiful city with an energetic atmosphere. It is old and new in the right combination of working, living and recreation.

We discovered by chance some gems in the hospitality industry that, it turned out later, the Michelin Guide had already discovered. For the price of an average hamburger in NNetherlands you can eat fantastic food here. These two restaurants in Belgrade you should so definitely not to be missed:

Traditional: Bela Reka

A Modern restaurant where they serve traditional Serbian food. Large portions and a good selection of Rakija!

Italian: Comunale

An Italian restaurant in a fantastic place in the old concrete lagoon on the banks of the Sava. High quality with respect for Italian cuisine.
