The aim of project is to realize a state-of-the-art biofuel plant that will make a significant contribution to reducing CO2 emissions and promoting renewable energy sources.
Within this project, Ditio is responsible for Document Control. Initially the focus was on optimizing the daily operational processes, given the complexity due to the large amount of documents and stakeholders involved. Subsequently, procedures and work instructions were updated and the Document Control team and internal departments were trained to work more efficiently. This has resulted in fewer ambiguities and increased efficiency, aiming for "First time right."
Initial challenges were overcome by focusing on process optimization, training and implementing more efficient working methods. As a result, it was possible to respond more flexibly to changes within the project team while retaining valuable information.
Thanks to Ditio's efforts, the Document Control process has become more efficient, with clearly established procedures and better communication between internal and external stakeholders. As a result, operations have improved and ambiguities can be resolved more quickly.
This project has taught us that regardless of the scope, the basic building blocks of the Document Control process are crucial and need to be continuously maintained. Once these basics are in place, we see immediate positive effects in operational efficiency. Document Control is no longer seen as an obstacle, but as a final quality control for the organization.
Moving toward a sustainable future, we continue to strive for improvement and innovation in every project we tackle.
