The scope of work of the Cost Engineer Construction concerns the projects related to new construction and renovation of structural objects inside and outside the terminal building of our client.
They differ in complexity and scope, but what they have in common is our client's dynamic and, above all, complex environment. With us, operations are always ongoing, and that means that even in seemingly simple projects, there are multiple relevant interests at play. That requires understanding and persuasion.
- As a Cost Engineer Construction, you will be proactively involved with cost advice regarding risks, optimizations and variants for the small to medium sized projects.
- You prepare cost estimates of the investment costs for these projects and continuously question whether the investment adds sufficient value. You work closely with various departments to come to a supported and realistic cost advice.
- You will also be involved in identifying potential cost savings and budgeting for current and future projects.
- Your expertise will play a crucial role in supporting decision-making at all levels of our organization.
- In addition, you are part of the Cost Expertise Center (CEC) which is responsible for creating the budgets for requests coming from the main contractors.
- Here you will evaluate the request, the quotation and be responsible for assessing and realizing cost efficiency.
