Senior Project Planner

Are you an experienced planner with more than 7 years of work experience and do you feel like mastering entire project processes? Then we are looking for you! As Senior Project Planner you are responsible for setting up and/or managing (or having managed) medium to large projects (>4000 activities), which includes managing one or more Planners in the project team.

Your responsibilities

In the position of Senior Project Planner, you are responsible for EPC projects (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) and the optimal deployment of resources on your projects (professionals, materials and resources). You are responsible for identifying deviations in the intended result on the various projects. In addition, you identify risks and suggest improvements. And what else?

• You are a sparring partner for the project team;

• Participate and advise on project management team meetings;

• You are responsible for the quality of your junior and medior team members, if present on a project;

• You translate discipline schedules into project schedules;

• You implement the scheduling of subcontractors and suppliers.

What we ask? 

• At least a completed college education, HBO/WO work and thinking level;

• Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience;

• Excellent command of Primavera P6 and MS Office package (Word, Excel, MS Project);

• Excellent mastery of resource control, cost control and earned value reporting, risk analysis;

• Knowledge of probabilistic planning is a plus;

• Excellent command of Dutch and a good command of English;

• A team player with good proactive and communication skills;

• You work independently, accurately, analytically and carefully.
